My device can't connect to the Signal server
The most common reason for a connection failure is a software firewall blocking the connection between the Signal server and your device. If your Mac's firewall is on, create a firewall rule for Signal and try connecting again.
It is also a good idea to verify that your device has connected successfully to your wireless network. When connected, your iPhone or iPod touch will display a Wi-Fi icon in its status bar. If no icon or the EDGE icon is displayed, you may need to wait a few seconds for the device to connect or reconfigure your wireless network settings.
